This year photos were certainly a family affair! One of my very oldest and closest friends took our family pictures this year. It was such a good experience, and I was touched that she could do them because they included Val,Billy and LT and Mom and Dad. She has known them all for over 15 years...so she was very comfy with our slightly crazy crew! I was really wanting to get some good ones of Mom and Dad while mom was still doing well. So we packed up and shot out on a country road that Bryce, Mad and I frequent when we are relaxing and noshing on snow cones. I loved the arched trees and always knew I wanted photographs taken there (luckily I know people!). We could not have planned for a more beautiful morning! The sun was out, no wind...and only an RV and about a half dozen cars forced us out of the middle of the road! It was memorable, that is for sure! I am so proud of the pictures she captured. They are absolutely beautiful (I know I should wait for others to say that....but I don't care....I love them!) and will be held firmly to my heart. A special thanks to Amanda (Amanda Barefoot Photography) for being such a good friend and for capturing a moment for me. There really isn't a better gift in the world. And a hug and kiss to my family. The Lord gave us a one of a kind family....and for that I am thankful!
